2024 Retreat Theme:
Replenishing Ojas,
the Essence of Resilience
Ojas (pronounced OH-jus) is one of the subtle forces in our body, yet it has a very tangible effect on our strength and resilience. We can think of Ojas as our reserves of energy and immunity, protecting the body and mind.
Physically, Ojas is related to Kapha dosha and the fluid systems in our body, especially the reproductive, hormonal, and cerebrospinal fluids. Like a shield or buffer, the more Ojas we have, the more impervious we are to disease and negativity.
Ojas also gives us an overall sense of satisfaction with life, a feeling of abundance and sufficiency. It enables us to withstand change and challenges. Our modern culture is chronically low in Ojas. Together over this weekend, we will explore the many ways we can build and replenish Ojas through our daily lives.
Going on retreat is a powerful act of
self-nourishment & healing

In Vedic times, people went to the forest for spiritual sustenance, growth, and healing. Today we follow in their footsteps.
It takes effort and intention to extract ourselves from our usual lives to regain the juiciness and insight that retreat offers.
Together in the forest, we'll cultivate the practices that nourish our body and lead us to our inner knowing. And we’ll experience the restorative power of nature, far from the consuming details of home.
Retreat Highlights Include…

Meet your Retreat Guide, Ivy Ingram...
It’s my mission to help motivated, curious women restore their health and find real happiness, drawing on ancient teachings and inner wisdom.
As a certified Ayurveda Practitioner, I began working with clients in 2012. I trained in the U.S. for 2 years under renowned Ayurveda teacher Dr. Vasant Lad. In 2011, I also trained for 5 months in South India at a traditional panchakarma center where intensive cleansing and rejuvenation programs are conducted.
I also have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and I’m a certified yoga instructor.
When not guiding retreats, I teach clients how to get rid of digestive issues, painful periods, anxiety, and stress-related problems through individual consultations, seasonal digestive cleanses and educational programs.

Our Beautiful Retreat Venue
We’ll be staying in our own private mountain lodge nestled on 700+ acres of pristine forest and mountains, surrounded by wildflowers, babbling streams, and rustling maple and white oaks - just the place to unwind.
Our lodge holds our cozy hotel-style bedrooms, a spacious dining room with stone fireplace, lounge space, and our own kitchen. We can pop into the living room for tea, fruit or snacks throughout the day.

Our morning yoga and program sessions will be held in the Yoga Barn, an easy 10 minute walk from our lodge through rolling pastures and past the fishing pond (also drivable if preferred).

All our delicious healthy meals will be prepared with love, offering vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner served in our community dining room or outside under the trees.
